Please Note:
Availability of conference subsidies will be dependent on the conference receiving Ministry funding.
To ensure equitable access from across the province, the Making Gains Conference is offering limited registration, travel and accommodation subsidies. Generally, one representative per organization may apply.
Preference will be given to applicants from diverse communities, consumers, family members, volunteers, board members, small agencies/organizations and students.
Applicants will meet the following criteria:
have a demonstrated financial need
have not attended any previous mental health and addiction conferences on a scholarship, bursary or subsidy
conference will be of benefit to the applicant and their community.
In addition, successful applicants will be asked to provide a post-conference testimonial outlining their conference experience.
Subsidies are limited and will be directly based on the above criteria.
